we just wanna see
pagans! / pigeons in the sand! / let’s storm area 51 / let the birds loose / who knows what we’ll find
/ backspace that / was slightly cliché / how about astronauts chanting / in emoji outside the gates /
the hum of pigeons fluttering / amidst chemical air / all the aliens are disappointed / in humanity /
what have we done / can they save us / look / cleverer lights flip / -flicker now / the pigeons have
shotguns / in their beaks / a knife sticking out / between feathers / everything is sharp and wild
and warp / cameras flashing / we just want / to see them aliens / can we breathe now / what
is wrong with / you / leave them alone / microscope away / headline of the century somewhere /
in space I float / alien entertainment / no one on earth will remember / anyway / but area 51 is open
for business / open for bodies / blue / look at how delicious / that blue / that alien flesh is / too much
so leave / your eyeballs on mars / the aliens will think it’s funny / your ogling / they will laugh and
leave / you on read
