Devanshi Khetarpal is a junior at NYU majoring in Comparative Literature with a minor in Creative Writing. She is from Bhopal, India, but currently lives in Manhattan, New York. She has studied abroad for a semester at NYU Florence, where she worked as an Editing Intern for NYU La Pietra Dialogues and also received the David J. Travis Undergraduate Research Fund for research on Modern Italy, and for a summer at NYU Paris. She is the editor-in-chief of Inklette Magazine, a staff writer for West 10th, an office assistant for the NYU Department of Comparative Literature, poetry reader for Muzzle Magazine, a mentor for UniRely, and a former intern at Poets House. Her poetry collection, 'Small Talk' came out this summer from Writers Workshop India, Kolkata, with a foreword by Akhil Katyal. Her work has been published or is forthcoming in Underblong Journal, Best Indian Poetry 2018, Sahitya Akademi's Indian Literature, Transom, Aainanagar, and Souvenir among others. She speaks Hindi, English and Italian, and is currently learning Punjabi at Columbia University.
